Clinical and Research Assays

The Hypertension Core Laboratory at Wake Forest School of Medicine is a CLIA certified laboratory that performs analyses of clinical and research assays for academic, federal and industry clients. The laboratory has participated in NIH, FDA and pharmaceutical company-sponsored studies and has extensive experience with multi-center initiatives. Annually, the laboratory reports up to 10,000 results.

The Hypertension Core Laboratory has the latest equipment to conduct multiplexing of assays using the Auchon Cirra Scan Imaging System. It is a high complexity assay laboratory directed by K. Bridget Brosnihan, PhD, HCLD, FAHA.
